We designed and built a complete solution for a customer to transport laminate panels of various sizes from the cutting line to the next processing stage. The system consists of two width-adjustable belt conveyors and a third conveyor, working together to align, rotate, and lift the panels to the height of the downstream processing machines.
The challenge – panels coming from the cutting line were not aligned, and before processing they had to be accurately aligned and correctly oriented. Since the processing machine was installed at a much higher level, the system also had to lift the panels reliably without slippage and without any additional lifting equipment. At the same time, it needed to stay flexible enough to handle different panel dimensions while ensuring stable, safe, and dependable transport throughout the entire line.
The result – we delivered a synchronized, manually adjustable three-conveyor system that provides smooth, stable, and precise transport from cutting to processing. The solution enables accurate positioning and transfer between different heights, and it feeds panels into the processing machine consistently—without manual intervention. Quick and easy width adjustment allows fast changeovers between different panel sizes, improving throughput and reducing setup time.

Belt conveyor for panel alignment
An adjustable dual-belt conveyor receives the panels from the cutting line and guides them through an integrated alignment unit to ensure accurate positioning.
A high-grip toothed belt (red surface) prevents slipping and ensures stable transfer to the next conveyor.

Belt conveyor for elevating panels to a higher level with rotation unit
The second belt conveyor is installed at an incline, lifting the panels up to the higher level where the processing machine is located. At the end, an integrated turning mechanism flips the panel “upside down” before it continues onto the third belt conveyor.

Modular belt conveyor for feeding panels into the processing machine
A belt conveyor with a green PVC belt receives the flipped panels and feeds them into the processing machine. Side guides keep the panel centered on the conveying path, even at higher speeds.

1. Receiving the panel from the cutting line
The laminated panel arrives on the first belt conveyor, which is adjusted in width to match the panel dimensions.
2. Panel alignment
A side guide positions the panel precisely along the lateral axis to ensure accurate transfer and downstream handling.
3. Transport and elevation
The second belt conveyor transports the panel on an incline and lifts it to the higher level.
4. Panel rotation
At the end of the second conveyor, an integrated mechanism flips the panel upside down and transfers it onto the last belt conveyor.
5. Final feed into the processing machine
The belt conveyor delivers the panel to the processing machine, ready for the next operation.
