Minitec aluminium profiles – where simplicity means unlimited possibilities.

Brockhaus Encyclopedia already mentions the concept of a modular system as a method for assembling complex technical solutions using simple building blocks. This principle allows for simple, economical, and flexible production, widely applicable across industrial applications.

When developing our aluminum profile system, we consistently followed this philosophy. Minitec’s goal was to create a system that offers maximum flexibility with a minimal number of different components. The result is a profile system with fewer than 80 different aluminum profiles, allowing a wide range of applications – from ergonomic workstations and dynamic linear units to complex assembly lines.

The most common and versatile selection of Minitec aluminum profiles is the series 45 profiles. In addition to the wide range of profiles, they are complemented by more than 11,000 components from our product program. Our modular system also includes series 30 aluminum profiles with compatible components. Due to smaller dimensions and weight, Series 30 is ideal for smaller, lighter, and simpler constructions.

Profile optimization for Increased efficiency

Through collaboration with the renowned Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Mathematics (ITWM), Minitec has achieved optimal results in profile development. Thanks to a standardized slot system, all our profiles are fully compatible and allow for flexible combinations across various applications. This simplifies assembly process and reduces the need for different tools when constructing aluminium profiles and components.

Standardized slot system – 8 mm width and 15 mm depth for a wide range of screws.
M8 threaded hole – allows self-tapping screws without additional threading, reducing assembly time.
Standard edge radius of 2.5 mm – ensures both aesthetic appearance and safety.

Minimal planning and optimized engineering

The Minitec system enables fast and straightforward planning. Thanks to the full compatibility of all components and the use of our proprietary CAD software, proven elements and solutions can be assembled quickly. The software automatically generates parts lists, reducing the need for manual planning and ensuring greater accuracy.

Power-Lock system

Minimal assembly time – No drilling or thread cutting required

Ease of assembly is a key advantage of the Minitec system. Thanks to the patented Power-Lock fastening element for aluminium profiles, assembly time is reduced to a minimum.

The assembly process is extremely straightforward and requires only a 4 mm hex key – no additional tools or profile machining needed.

This ensures fast and hassle-free construction of structures.

POWER-LOCK – Patented fastening element

The Power-Lock system enables fast, strong, and economical assembly of aluminium profiles without additional drilling or machining. Using a self-tapping screw, the connector is easily inserted into the profile slot to create a strong, safe, and ESD-compliant connection. It also allows modifications or extensions of constructions with minimal hand tools.

Three-step assembly process with Power-Lock:

STEP 1

Screw the self-tapping screw into the central hole of the profile using a cordless drill.

STEP 2

Place the second profile onto the connecting element and adjust it to the desired location.

STEP 3

Use a 4 mm hex key to fasten the screw in the connecting element.

This method enables rapid and reliable assembly, minimizing errors and demanding minimal effort.

In addition to the Power-Lock system, we offer a wide range of connection elements, including screws, nuts, brackets, mounting supports, and other accessories. These allow flexible combinations of Minitec aluminium profiles for projects of all sizes.
